i know you guys are planning to go zoo on this sunday because it's ji hong's b'day (yayyy)

i know that there will be a number of people going (and that does NOT include me)
why not? :O

reason number 1 : it's a sunday.

i can be classified as a family-based person,
and sundays have always been a family-day for me.
not only for me, but for my whole family members as well.
we tend not to join friends out for whatever outings or whatever blah,
because it's a family-day.
we reserve our sundays just for ourselves. =)

reason number 2 : it's so expensive.

thanks miao hua for asking me to check about the admission fee and the operating hours yesterday.

admission fee for adults (just like us) : 16.50dols.

you think it's cheap?

i think this kinda ... you know ... too over laaa.
i think 16.50dols can be used more wisely than to go zoo just for that day.
i mean ... 16.50dols leh! you think you all very rich meh?
even i myself can't bear to go there laaaa.

i think i'm quite self-centered when i was typing this... whatever, it's my POV anyway~

reason number 3 : it's exams-time.

prelims don't start on next monday, but on next friday.
HOWEVER, i do need a lot of time to study and work hard for my exams.
'ya know, my results are THAT jiat lat eversince i enter sec. school.
and some more this is the final year for us.
OF COURSE we should study even harder right?

you may think that i'm making excuses for myself to not go zoo with you people.
but, seriously, what i have typed here are true.
not that i don't treat this 11-years friend good la,
but ... GO TO ZOO FOR B'DAY CELEBRATION?! - 16.50dols.
that's ... no way.

... would rather have a nice nice meal than to go zoo which is kinda ... BORING.
